| | | House Bill 276, Air Quality Control Permit Denial, sponsored by Rep. Brian F. Egolf, would give the State Environment Department and the Albuquerque/ Bernalillo County air quality agencies the right to deny an air quality permit to an operator with a history of violating environmental laws. It is scheduled to be heard by the entire House of Representatives during the floor session on
Tuesday morning, February 9th. This is a very important bill that all communities and environmentalists should support. Currently there are no regulations that require past violations be considered when granting or renewing an air quality permit
